I was there last night the car park was full of OSF's inc my van everyone having a chat /look etc then around 10.15pm the manager ?? of the cafe starts shouting everyone out everyone out ,that was inside the cafe in a panic type way then around half 10 he tells the car park lads to clear the car park ??? i think it all started with a load of fools pelting a police car by the roundabout with bottles n coins etc i was told about this just after the incident ??? i never actually saw this then guessing around an hour later Police everywhere inc in the petrol stations parked up (i had to get fuel).........so i would say nothing really to do with the make of car (Ford) night , hopefully it will get sorted ive been doing the various nights at the Ace for over 20 years :(

I for one used to drive like a "see you next Tuesday" infact a "fat see you next Tuesday".

In fact I am sure a fair few from the Crystal Palace Tea Stall days have been there and done it as well.

But always late at night on clear bits of road that meant we did not involve members of the public.

Those in the You Tube vids should all be locked up IMO.

I've gone sideways a few times and driven fast. We all have. However, I have never done donuts around a roundabout, which seems to be the norm at the Ace, and never driven like a cock when there are crowds of people lining the streets, just waiting to be wiped out by an out of control car. I've never thrown rocks at the police either.

So don't call me a hypocrite for condemning what went on last night.

i remember the c,palace tea stall, 20 + years ago, good days. there was a lot less on the road then. we are all young at some point though. they just dont seem to have any common sense now days & seem content to fook it for everyone. must admit i havent seen all the crap that went on. i can remember taunting the police to get chased though. oooh wasnt i a naughty boy.....

Never had any accidents (worth talking about) on any of the Tea Stall runs, but 99% of us were sensible.

Sorry Dell, no I haven't. Have I exceeded the speed limit, taken the odd bend a little fast? Yes I have. But have I driven like an absolute nut case in a built up area with zero regard for the hundreds of pedestrians in close proximity (innocent or otherwise) and other road users around? Absolutely not. What's more I'll bet the majority haven't either. What ever they claim about going side ways around roundabouts when bigging their driving skills up down the pub.

yeah but the reason you never did is when you were young cars didnt excedd 5mph and you had a bloke walking in front of you with a lamp

speeding can kill mate. my mum would say your a cock for exceeding the speed limit. your gonna do more damage going fast than losing a drift on a mini round about.

Your mum can say what she likes, there's far less chance of me losing control at 80 on the motorway then there is of some clown losing control of his car broadside round a roundabout and taking out the pedestrians / his own passengers or someone coming the other way in another car.

Besides, if I get nicked at 80 on the motorway I'll get 3 points and a £60 fine as a fixed penalty. Get nicked pulling stunts like these though and you'll probably end up in the dock charged with dangerous driving. Tell mumsy to put that in her pipe and smoke it

But you might hurt more people losing a drift on a mini roundabout which is lined with kids watching your (lack of) elite skillz.

According to one of the guys on 105Speed who was there last night, and almost had the front of his daily taken off by a cock doing a handbrake turn in front of him, he claimed the aggro was caused by the chavs who turn up in their modified cars (all makes) and park opposite. So it sounds like it wasn't the pre-84 lot.

BTW, I've never had so much as a parking ticket
