I think the only person planning to camp is Andy44Boz

Like you, we're all looking at the weather and hoping for the best. I did camp there once through a bad weather weekend (2007 I think) and it was a pretty grim experience.

I'm camping at the Devon Hotel - Matford!

Such a shame bloody weather again, Saturday looks really bad (red warning), some of Duchy members are already there and its not cancelled at moment. I will be there Sunday if weather inproves and its still on.

Well, with Heavy, possibly thundery showers forecast for this evening and heavy rain spreading into Cornwall and Devon later tonight. Then rain will progress east to all parts by morning, turning generally more showery forecast overnight and for Saturday a very wet start with some heavy downpours, possibly thundery. The rain becoming more showery and perhaps easing later.

I think tomorrow is a write off for me. Andy, I hope you changed your mind about camping tonight

Camped at Powderham a few years ago in the rain ..we sat it out on the Saturday in hope that Sunday would still be ok.

Sat in a tent from 3pm right round to 8am Sunday morning..then they cancelled the show as the show field was a "health and safety" hazard :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:

Powderham has been closed for the public today they are hoping for it to be open on Sunday, I have just spoken to someone on the field and the lane into the show is quite waterlogged

According to F/B the few members of Duchy Capri Club that tried to camp ended up abandoning in the early hours due to excessive rain. The fields are water logged Scott.
