morcheen Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 no ford ever came with them, from any time
Twinkle Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 on the mk1 i think they were included in the clubman pack but most of the time i think the owners fit them
Guest Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 so what's the difference between this one and a normal mk2, really sorry, im sure this gets explained all the time i know it has a 2.0 pinto in it not the normal 1.6 crossflow, but body wise
orionmojo Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 its got a chin spoiler and its on the deck other than that- not alot from what i can see. the engine bay's been smootherd, inner wings etc, strut top mounts blended etc. . nice car
Guest Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 ok, thank you very much. so the strut brace has been added on?
Guest Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 so the arches are standard? what's the idea of this in the boot? is it the fuel tank?
orionmojo Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 thats the base for an alloy fuel tank yeah. theres loads of rally inspired mods like that, the reason its shaped like that is so the spare wheen can fit in the boot still. and you can do away with the filler hole on the wing- 1 less place to rust too
RETRO_AL Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 thats the platform for th fuel tank m8
orionmojo Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 you can just make out the shape of the fuel tank in this one strutbrace and why not
Twinkle Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 heres a pic of mine with the tank mounted
mk1super Posted September 20, 2006 Report Posted September 20, 2006 so what's the difference between this one and a normal mk2, really sorry, im sure this gets explained all the time i know it has a 2.0 pinto in it not the normal 1.6 crossflow, but body wise Whos mexico is that? Its bloody nice!!!!
