Ford Escorts made just before 1998 are meant to be similarly bad, the NCAP website tests a late one and that does dismally.. I've heard a 1996 Escort is the single most dangerous car you can drive of the time, just wondering is anyone can find any crash footage from one of these? Maybe its time to get a Focus..
