jayremedy Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 When I worked at a tyre service late 80's the boss would always send the yts lads to phone head office to send more air to the compressor as it's a bit flat and some sky hooks to tidy up the lines.

Skimmer Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 A plumber i worked with some years ago would send his new apprentices to the plumbers merchants for some elbow grease and the merchants were also in on it so would also play along especially on the "long wait" prank they used to spend most of the day there , the plumber thought it was hilourous
mk2 mike Posted April 18, 2012 Report Posted April 18, 2012 Mate at work went for an internal interview yesterday to move to a new department. He stupdly went home early the day before and left his interview suit hanging in our office so we took it to the taylors and had the trousers turned up 3 inches and the jacket sleeves 2 inches. He looked like he'd been put on a hot wash Still got the job though
Admin Vista Posted April 18, 2012 Admin Report Posted April 18, 2012 I sent a young mechanic in to see a female doc we had on board ship, he was sent up wielding the biggest f**k off set of Stillsons I could find and knocked on the door politely announcing that he was here to fix her fallopian tubes. Fortunately she had a sense of humour. The poor lad was a bit gormless as someone else sent him up to the Regulators office ( a Regulator is a kind of Naval policeman, a bit like an MP) with an equally large hammer, you got it, he announced he was there to fix the duff regulator. He didn't have such a good sense of humour
Col-ashtonmobile Posted April 19, 2012 Report Posted April 19, 2012 i sent a trainee to get some spark plug gaps and a bubble for the spirit level
