It was on ebay twice and never met the reserve i watched it both times then stored it so soon as my land rover sold i made contact!!! surprising what people will "give a miss" due to not having any road tax aint it! did 2 trips to surrey to sort it but i got it in the end so all good!!!

stoneymk5 Posted July 5, 2012 Author Report Posted July 5, 2012 looks very nice is it unwelded like my mk4 and what r ya plans Thanks for all the positive comments at the moment it is "unwelded" but unfortunatly it requires some attention to the bottom of the "A" posts !!! i have coming some nos "A" posts tho so will look brilliant once again! Plans are To fit my new carb and K&N, Lower it slightly, MK4 Grill ( if any one has one that i can purchase lol ) needs stem seals doing ( pinto puff first thing) so may go 2.1 pinto , Also some deep dish 15" minilites and a stealth stereo so sounds nice but still looks retro!! And a coat of fresh paint as the original has started to wear thin in places and as seen is different shades here and there lol
