Dont forget to tell your insurance company you have passed as most of them need to know and some even put the prices up with youngsters cos they say you dont have a responable adult with you anymore Already sorted mate, rang them up as soon as i got in, they swapped it over, just gotta pay them within 7 days, as my card decided to decline itself, was gunna pay for it there and then Guessing cus i have a £500 limit due to it being a youngsters Visa Electron card Mums gunna pay for it tomorrow for me, then i give her the money in installments each day But they said your ok to drive as they've already changed it over Just said make sure you pay it within 7 days as otherwise they will close my policy down Provisional was £800, and full licence is £2200, but take away what ive already paid, and i owe them £1104 for 6 months basically Kiss goodbye to my new wheels for this year Oh well Pray for cheaper next year as ill have 1 years NCB

Savvi Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 Well done mate, you only passed yesterday, wait for another few weeks and you will start steering with the rear and trying to make it go faster We all did it i can still remember when i passed and was out in my Bright Yellow Mk1 escort with a gang of mates racing and generally being idiots, i know you have put alot of hard work into your's but i did the same bought it at 14 and smashed it up at 17 !!!! Just take care and keep a level head, im sure you will have been told this already by the family but they do know what they are talking about. Well done again and enjoy it, was for me one of my best days as i was car mad and it opened up so many oppotunities for me having a licence.
SebringRS Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 If i wasnt so short on cash for fuel id be out driving around now, does seem weird to think i can just hop in the car and go somewhere Going to a local car meet tonight and dont wanna use the fuel up til tonight so gunna keep it in the garage until then, might take it for a blast round the estate later once the schools all kicked out

SebringRS Posted July 10, 2012 Report Posted July 10, 2012 As it was wet tonight i did try getting it to spin out off the industrial estates we ended up in, but even with a boot full it dont wanna go And motorway driving is a killer, especially with an 1100, trying to keep it at 60 with it revving its knackers off, 1300 is needed i think or 5 speed
