The Transplanter Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 the key number is on the back of the lock, but I dont know who could cut a key from it in this day & age? Take the lock out and take it to a locksmith to make you one up

deltamal Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 I found some key blanks on ebay for the Cortina, then got a local guy to 'copy cut' them as spares, they work ok, but obviously you would need an original to copy from, I also found 'new old stock' barrel and keys on ebay.
alltheoldohyeah Posted February 21, 2013 Report Posted February 21, 2013 Speak to Peter Weston wilmotlockman@gmail.com. He supplys me with new lock sets for the Anglia he might be able to help with escort ones as well. Normally the boot lock is the easiest to get out and find a lock number for, providing your locks are all on the same key that is the one to go for. Hope this helps

Think there is a release pin to push once the lock is turned to aux. Then the barrel will slide out and have the number on it. Or ask Peter he can probably sort the whole thing for you. He's not that expensive. Thanks Dan
Admin Vista Posted February 21, 2013 Admin Report Posted February 21, 2013 I'll drop him a mail, thanks.
