No wasn't cheap, and part of me thinking wtf have i done but the money was only sitting in thank and earning nothing, worse comes to the worse and i'll sell it on doubt i'll loose much. Think i need to change the wheels but that's about it. Put it this way, i never set out to get one of these.

They are the correct wheels for a Mex.

 

Looks nice that one, hope its all what it should be, even though what ever, they are all going up in price so over time you shouldn't lose out.

I took someone that knows his stuff, all the bits are present and correct apart from it's had two new front wings in the past and the double plate on the top mounts aren't there. He believes it's genuine, VIN plate checks out. Although i suspect it's been used as rally car in Ireland, although no evidence of a cage etc. Although a bloody great square orange light on the passenger side dash which I'm yet to figure out what it is.

 

I've had a look round now it's home and a few bits of rust coming through at the bottom of one of the doors and in a couple of other places I'll look into the cost of getting it stripped and rust sorted out next year.

 

Passenger wing mirror is pointing somewhere random which made reversing into the garage interesting

 

I think I might have to get some Minilites for it though. Overall happy but I think this could be the start of something obsessive.

It classic ford this coming weekend, make a good start to attending some shows, not sure if you will get on out stand now but worth going either way.
