XjamesX Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 For those of you who don't use the OSF Retards Club group Tom linked some pic's of what we think was Banarama's escort now, :/
Mrs O/H/C Posted May 27, 2013 Report Posted May 27, 2013 As I said on Retards Club it's up to the owner on what style they like but personally I think it's a deep shame as I thought the car looked awesome as it was
XjamesX Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Posted May 27, 2013 Agree totally up to owner but, Before After
XjamesX Posted May 27, 2013 Author Report Posted May 27, 2013 Yeah mate looks like the new owner has added the green.
mk2 mike Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 As I said on Retards Club, it looks horrific. What a waste
SmokeEm Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 Not my taste but you can't blame the new owner for wanting to put his own stamp on it? Bear in mind guys, he could be reading these comments. Not a great way to welcome a potential new member.. Fook me, I've turned into my Dad!!!
Bigfish Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 i could think of better ways to spend money to put his stamp on it.
2litreScapri Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 It's very odd not what I'd do but if it starts, stops, drives well & keeps up burnouts then it's all good
gearbox100 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 I quite like the side sripes and the colour choice . Not so keen on the strip over the center of the car tho.
Rallye Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 I've seen a similar colour scheme on a bubble arched MK1, looks the nuts.
w p e Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 looks like ali baba's rug on the bonnet. nasty but each to there own
Admin Vista Posted May 28, 2013 Admin Report Posted May 28, 2013 I don't think it looks that bad. I'll wager if someone had raced a car with a colour scheme like that back in the day, there'd be loads of them like it now. Gulf escort's had similar style stripes over the top and look how many variations of copies of those there have been over the years? For instance 1
fieldy1972 Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 Definitely not my cup of Rosie. , but each to their own I suppose.
D-FENS Posted May 28, 2013 Report Posted May 28, 2013 Is anyone on here actualy in touch with the Banana man ,how is he doing now .I know he was not to well but have not heard much about him recently .
w p e Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 I don't think it looks that bad. For instance thats what i've never understood why people copy or try to replicate other cars nicks mk1 is going in alan mann colours ffs how many of them out there total character loss. thats my view anyway
Fiesta Steve Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 It was a plain yellow escort, I don't see the need for anyone to put their 'stamp' on it.
puddy Posted May 29, 2013 Report Posted May 29, 2013 thats what i've never understood why people copy or try to replicate other cars nicks mk1 is going in alan mann colours ffs how many of them out there total character loss. thats my view anyway Alan Mann colours can only be a good thing ,shame its on that car though. Maybe if Nick hadn't sold it ............................ puddy
