bomber1 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 sounds ok 2me. ive got an ohc escort one for a tenner if u pick up
adam.wilkinson Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I have a Peter Lloyed manifold same as that on my Capper and it's fantastic! For the money ya can't go wrong... Although a tenner is kind of a bit cheaper!
Admin Vista Posted February 8, 2007 Admin Report Posted February 8, 2007 If you're buying a new one I'd spend the extra £20 and go for the three piece 2 1/4" one that they do http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... &rd=1&rd=1
4parajon Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 A lot will depend on the spec of your engine??? If yours is a pretty standard engine and you just want/need a new manifold go for the 2" one. If you have a fairly well specced set up steer clear of them and call a specialist like Tony Law's, they do cost a lot of money but you get what you pay for. IMO the tubes used are too big they should be a maximum of 44.45mm for a normally aspirated pinto engine.
Messenjah Posted February 8, 2007 Author Report Posted February 8, 2007 engine is bog standard atm but relatively soon (like as soon as i get a job) ill be changing to a kent fr32 camshaft and a 38dgas carb probably wont go much beyond that tho ..
