Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted September 4, 2013 Moderator Report Posted September 4, 2013 You never know a money bags might be out there I would gladly hand over my Twincam for that kind of money LOL
texr2000 Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 i dont see why would set the price so high.... could have been something a tad realistic " I have set the price stupidly high and don't expect to achieve this ( although i hope to ) but its offers I am interested in. If I am not offered what i think she is worth she,ll go back underwraps" Then again the high price is what caused me to click on the advert....." " i purchased it in 2000 mileage then 38.8k its now 39.3" 500 miles in 13 years! Are these really worth as much as RS models? i assume these arnt classed as RS models...they are same spec to a 1600Sport?
Admin Vista Posted September 4, 2013 Admin Report Posted September 4, 2013 Are these really worth as much as RS models? i assume these arnt classed as RS models...they are same spec to a 1600Sport? I guess that depends on the buyer, but not to me they're not.......................though I do like them and they are quite exclusive
MEXICO_PETE Posted September 4, 2013 Author Report Posted September 4, 2013 Harriers were built out of the ford parts bins to use up all the mex and sport bits before they moved on to the mark 3. yes they are still desirable and I likem, but not a pure bred RS. Ford used a standard shell and bolted the goodies on to them. Hope the guy gets a good price for it, but 40K,... I'll have what he's smokin!
SmokeEm Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 I'd LOVE a Harrier for two reasons. One is BECAUSE its a bitza. Bitza this and bitza that. Other reason is that back in the late 80's when I had done my 1st year driving to gain some NCB the Harrier was the only decent Ford I could afford to buy & insure. Rs's were out of my affordability but I felt just as special in the Harrier. It never felt to me like an RS's poor cousin.
escortmad79 Posted September 4, 2013 Report Posted September 4, 2013 For 40k I'd want it gold plated with a diamond encrusted steering wheel & seats!

He knows it isnt worth that much he is just using Ebay as an advertising platform and is just after offers and so too the inflated price made us all look so your absolutely right. If he can exploit Ebay good on him I say. Think of the Ebay and Paypal fees on 40 thousand quid though? You could buy a nice 4 door for that LOL
In The Pit Posted September 5, 2013 Report Posted September 5, 2013 Are these really worth as much as RS models? i assume these arnt classed as RS models...they are same spec to a 1600Sport? These are not worth as much as the RS models, and yes they are not classed as RS models they are classed as a special edition. You're right they are the same spec as a 1600 Sport with the only extras over the Sport being alloy wheels, boot spoiler, recaro seats, remote control drivers door mirror, tinted glass and different stripes, other than that they are the same as a 1600 Sport.
