With everyone so used to Retards Club etc maybe a good way to advance the site is to introduce direct uploads.

You click an icon in your post and browse your computer for the image.

No need for photobucket or Flikr etc.

What ye think???

Some of the Essex mob only use the old skool ford page on Retards Club cos its easier to put pics up on there instead of on here.

It's a doddle to put pictures up on here, it takes seconds. I'd wager they've never tried the direct upload facility on here.

Excellent! ;)

I must admit that even though I'm part of the admin team I'm still finding little bits of the 'new' forum I didn't know about. I didn't realise until a few weeks ago that you could have a friends list.

works fine for me, what problem are you having? Are you forgetting to click "add to post"? to the right of where the photo uploads?

you can't do it from the quick reply though which might confuse people?

I just spent a minute trying to find it before going to the top of the thread and clicking reply there

anyway, here's a random test image

my 1st time too no luck it comes up url

You're not doing it right.

At the bottom of the quick reply box to the far right of the screen is a box that says "more reply options" Click it

Now on the bottom left, click where it says "choose files"

Select the folder and file on your computer and double click it

Your file will now upload to the site,

When the upload is complete, click where it says "add to post" make sure that the cursor is flashing where you want your picture to appear.

If it comes up in the wrong place, cut and paste the attachment text to where you want it to go

and voila:
