quickrack Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 With everyone so used to Retards Club etc maybe a good way to advance the site is to introduce direct uploads. You click an icon in your post and browse your computer for the image. No need for photobucket or Flikr etc. What ye think???
Fiesta Steve Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 Hmm, I don't use facefuck but I don't use phtobucket either. I use my phone to upload pictures. I just select the pic I want and it appears on the site..
aardvark101 Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 Sounds good to me , not that i have Twitter or Retards Club
over_head_cam Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 There is a direct upload already. Under the text area you'll see 'attach files' then you browse your pics, click 'add to post' and it's there
theloudboy Posted November 13, 2013 Report Posted November 13, 2013 Some of the Essex mob only use the old skool ford page on Retards Club cos its easier to put pics up on there instead of on here.

It's a doddle to put pictures up on here, it takes seconds. I'd wager they've never tried the direct upload facility on here.
quickrack Posted November 13, 2013 Author Report Posted November 13, 2013 Yeah thats dead easy and I didnt know it was there at all
over_head_cam Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 Excellent! I must admit that even though I'm part of the admin team I'm still finding little bits of the 'new' forum I didn't know about. I didn't realise until a few weeks ago that you could have a friends list.
SmokeEm Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 1st time for me too as i always used phtobucket
Admin Vista Posted November 14, 2013 Admin Report Posted November 14, 2013 and it doesnt work! lol works fine for me, what problem are you having? Are you forgetting to click "add to post"? to the right of where the photo uploads? test pic:
stuartp Posted November 14, 2013 Report Posted November 14, 2013 you can't do it from the quick reply though which might confuse people? I just spent a minute trying to find it before going to the top of the thread and clicking reply there anyway, here's a random test image 1
pintoboy Posted November 17, 2013 Report Posted November 17, 2013 my 1st time too no luck it comes up url
pintoboy Posted November 17, 2013 Report Posted November 17, 2013 change it like Retards Club so much easy and quicker boys
5tox Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 im well impressed with that, how quick and easy!!! no more pissing about with photobucket woohoo might be an idea to do a sticky or something bringing this to the attention of others 1
Admin Vista Posted November 18, 2013 Admin Report Posted November 18, 2013 my 1st time too no luck it comes up url You're not doing it right. At the bottom of the quick reply box to the far right of the screen is a box that says "more reply options" Click it Now on the bottom left, click where it says "choose files" Select the folder and file on your computer and double click it Your file will now upload to the site, When the upload is complete, click where it says "add to post" make sure that the cursor is flashing where you want your picture to appear. If it comes up in the wrong place, cut and paste the attachment text to where you want it to go and voila:
brettp Posted November 18, 2013 Report Posted November 18, 2013 That's a million times easier than photobucket 1
v8cortina Posted November 20, 2013 Report Posted November 20, 2013 I am unable to upload pics from my phone using Tapatalk. It states the forum has disabled this feature. Why?
Admin Mk2Jo Posted November 20, 2013 Admin Report Posted November 20, 2013 I don't have a problem with Tapatalk Thierry >>><br />
