PaulMags Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 As a few of you no i sell a few bits and pieces on there.Never really had any problems and send things all over the place and world.Sold a selection of mk1 indicator lenses they were ok and usable. ebay opened up a case against the person who bought them because he never paid for them.It took him a month to pay for them but once he received them he said they were all cracked and rubbish. And left me really shitty feed back.I no for a fact they were wrapped well in bubble wrap ect.I suppose another arsehole trying to get something for nothing.
rallyesport04 Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 you get some proppa knobbers on there after a year or so the poor feedback will disapear still no excuse for trying to get sumit for nothing good luck with them i find e bay very biased to the buyer
PaulMags Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 yeah.I never had any bad feed back myself and chequed his out and he had quite alot himself as he sells stuff himself would'nt be supprised if he.s a member on here.some arseholes pisss me of.He won four lenses for £15.00 they were ok aswell.you cant help some people.theres my rant lol
irishtorag Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 paul I bought 40 webbers and paid lad 6 weeks past no carbs ..the the round ones kept my cash... didn't have paypal and sold carbs else where...had to warn him I had address and would have no problem taking price of carbs from his head before I received money back.
Kieran Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 eBay is very biased to the buyer, bring back negative feedback for buyers!
PaulMags Posted January 11, 2014 Author Report Posted January 11, 2014 The thing is i no he's at it because there no corespondence from him.I've asked for pics of the item so i can have it out with ebay and put a claim into the post office if they are damaged.A big if that is lol
turnover Posted January 11, 2014 Report Posted January 11, 2014 Are they the ones you glued back together with superglue lol 1
thrashermax Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 You can get the negative feedback removed. I had an idiot who bought a mobile phone from me, who hadn't read the ad properly... he tried it on but eventually ebay agreed with me... took a while though.
PaulMags Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 Are they the ones you glued back together with superglue lol I.m not like you thats why they call you turnover lol
PaulMags Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 Anyone on here go by funshine-fords?
5tox Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 never come across that name before but ill be sure to add it to my list of 'DO NOT BUY / SELL FROM' Im not kidding, ive actually has to write a list because of the amount of dick heads ive had to deal with 3
PaulMags Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 maybe i should put there name up there from kent. 2
l j shaw Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Could the BB a thread on here of the names to stay away from on the bidding site....is it an option ?? Or does it break some rule somewhere.
5tox Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Would be a good idea but could open a big can of worms if perhaps a complaint is raised for online bullying etc..
mk2 mike Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Would be very useful. No one can moan about bullying if its factually correct. Just their name and a brief description of the complaint.
PaulMags Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 Would be a good idea but i expect we have a few on the site.A few years ago i bought a cossy box and the guy was on here cant remember who it was now but guaranteed me the box was fine but i never used it and used a different one.so i sold the box on believing it was fine then the next minute i no the guy who i sold it to is screaming at me.
The Transplanter Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 maybe i should put there name up there from kent. That explains it lol I have an ebay shop and have had similar experiences. Its very frustrating when you bend over backwards to make yourself a good seller and then some dick head comes along to ruin your day I agree, negative feedback for buyers should be bought back, the amount of knobs you get that dont pay when they have won auctions. Its got to the point that everything I sell now is a BIN with immediate payment required
irishtorag Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 I bought a mk2 rs wheel paid including postage over 100 pounds to find its a capri one returned at cost to me of 44 euro and had to get ebay involved after three weeks for refund said he never received item back yet the knob signed for it and I was at loss of 44 euro in end of day. now im an rs wheel short of finished escort 1
The Transplanter Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 I bought a mk2 rs wheel paid including postage over 100 pounds to find its a capri one returned at cost to me of 44 euro and had to get ebay involved after three weeks for refund said he never received item back yet the knob signed for it and I was at loss of 44 euro in end of day. now im an rs wheel short of finished escort Arh.... That irritates me no end. I have been looking for a v.good to mint MK2 wheel for a while now, and everyone is advertising Capri wheels as MK2 RS wheels the cnuts. Like you I bought a MK2 wheel last year of ebay and even messaged the guy before the auction ended and he said HE removed it off a MK2! And guess what??? So I messaged him that it wasnt a MK2 wheel and HE then said, im sure it was a MK2 I took it off! What a P R I C K 1
PaulMags Posted January 12, 2014 Author Report Posted January 12, 2014 Heres another one.lol.I sold a genuine ford locking petrol cap for a mk1 esc to a guy in Italy two weeks later he tells me he has'nt received it so instead of pisssing about i sent him another and to make sure i had the correct address i asked him to send that over to me again.but he wanted it sent to a different address which was 300 kilometers away. From that day i send everything tracked and has to be signed for.oh and i still have plenty or petrol caps only for a mk1 esc tho.lol
theloudboy Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 Reading this I am so happy I don't do e bay everyone moans about the place
rallyesport04 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 e bay is ok as a buyer as long as the person you buy from has alot of good feed back an genereally e bay is on the buyers side its just a bit more tricky as a seller you really have to cover your ass also the ebay an paypal fees are very high sometimes your better off keeping it
cdeane74 Posted January 12, 2014 Report Posted January 12, 2014 I sold my 3:54 ford cwp in good condition to some idiot ,and he opened a case cos he said it was slightly worn! I tried to explain that it was 32 years old and had lived in an axle all it's life so it's going to be! eBay sided with him but sold it a week later for same price . Or u get the people who ask questions and hassle you but never actually bid, also sold my van which had black alloys on it and put loads of pics on ad, winning bidder pulled out cos he said the van had black alloys and he didn't realise! Cucking funt! ;/
