Your prices mention here seem quite reasonable. When I went to get quotes on stainless systems they practically refused to do it unless i was prepared to pay for high quality stainless that was going to cost thousands. the cheaper Chinese stuff apparently expands and contracts so much that the exhaust pipe gets "excited" from so much heat expansion.

Don't get me wrong, im not saying £369 is massively expensive, more that I've heard of others being charged far less

I must admit that although a custom stainless system is nice, and won't rot, I prefer the sound of a mild steel exhaust.

that's near wot I was quoted  thought it was to much so ive gone to colin at ashton mobile waiting for a quote from him

If Colin is dramatically cheaper I am happy to go with him too. I am not bothered if mild steel or stainless on this project. Cheap is everything coz I've spent big elsewhere

As above done a good job on my escort, wasn't in there two hours.

 

Wasn't the happiest of chaps but I've heard he can be a bit like that, his works good though

 

I wouldn't be confident in letting anyone near my car that could build a decent exhaust in less than two hours..

Still, many people on here give him the thumbs up so maybe you can get quality and quantity.

To be fair on mine it wasn't much work, slides straight onto my manifold, then pretty much a straight pipe all the way back with a kick up to follow the floor and one back box
