Daveyboy20 Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 Been offered the chance to go on one instead of getting 3 points for going 35mph in a 30. When i found out i was made up as it'll save my insurance goin through the roof but ive just done a bit of research and its gonna cost me 75 King quid and i cant do it locally so ive got to drive halfway across the cuntry and back to King do it. That means on top of the £60 fixed fine and £75 King course fee Ive got to pay for about £50-£60 in fuel. I cant even afford to take Kate out for a Valentines meal or even buy her anything and ive got to find the money for this. Grrrr Im ever so slightly pissed off. Anyone been on one of these King courses? is it as shit as i think its gonna be, staring at smashed up corpses on a video for 3 hours with a load of boy racer Apple Pies?

Spend the money, and go on the course and eat humble pie "thinking up yours Jack" all the way through, it may seem expensive in the short term but will probably be cheaper in the long run. I'd take have taken it if I had the choice!! You don't get offered it for the kind of major speeds you must have been doing to rack up 11 points in 2 hits. It's only an option for the "minor" offenders
Stu_B Posted February 13, 2007 Report Posted February 13, 2007 54 in a 30 = 6pts, £70 fine and retest. and 90 in a 60 = £150 & 5pts! I'm not proud of it and it resulted in having to retake my test bumped up insurance!! 6pts have gone now as I was 18 at the time.

Im not a tightwad i have no King money Know the facts before spouting off shit like that you've really put me in a bad King mood. I have fook all money, im in my third year at uni and im right at the end of my course and its lookin like im gonna have to drop out becuase I CANT King AFFORD TO DO IT. I need my car on the road to get back home to do work as often as i can and ecven then im on £2 an hour (for hard physical labour) bacuase i owe my boss money. I can only get home once in a blue moon becuased of Uni. I could go on but to be honest iu wouldnt want to share how fuckibng racked with debt i am on a forum. Lets just say that the thought of trying to find over £150 for goin 5 mph ever a speed limit when i cant even afford to King keep myself going at the moment really King PISSES ME OFF.
