SmokeEm Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 D2500 Ferodo on mine. £65 from Burton. Lovely feel 1
BigBubba Posted April 29, 2014 Report Posted April 29, 2014 Another vote for the Ferodos from me. Awesome stopping power.
livewire7116 Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 Ds3000s in mine give horrendous brake squeal unless I get them glowing so I dropped to 2500s
texr2000 Posted April 30, 2014 Report Posted April 30, 2014 I have greenstuff but would buy 2500 next as were superb on everything else i used them on
seaneylad Posted May 1, 2014 Author Report Posted May 1, 2014 Thanks, Anywhere know we're to get the accessory kit with the split pins, Got one today but the pins were small, I need an accessory kit with the slightly bigger splits pins
HotRodMatt Posted May 2, 2014 Report Posted May 2, 2014 Try Peter Lloyd Rallying in Bridgend, I bought a spacer kit from them and it came with the longer split pins. Or try ebay for some the correct length?
Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted May 3, 2014 Moderator Report Posted May 3, 2014 Ferodos I used D3000 and 2500 I use the Ferodo DS Performance pad in my Princess Calipers. They dont quite have the high temp stopping of the DS2500 that is required of a track day car but much better on the road. With them you get great stopping power from cold and they dont squeal. I got them from Burtons
seaneylad Posted May 3, 2014 Author Report Posted May 3, 2014 In the end ive settled for Mintex MLB52 1144 from a friend at a good priceJust need to pay some attendtion to the piston and calipers get them moving abit more freely for the summer and ill overhaul them in the winter. Thanks all

I got them from Burtons The DS Performance is actually what id go for for road over DS2500, didnt know they were available. Had them on my caterham were a really good all round pad but 2500 was better for me with the regular track day
