My Mk1 Twin Cam

Hello, thought I would post a few pictures of my Twin Cam, Its about to have

a new paint job, once thats done i will bring it out to a few meets.

 

 

 

 

Its got a webasto roof, which i know is not the normal, but I like it !!!

Yes, its a genuine one, before I brought it I checked it out with the AVO register etc, loads of history, original sale reciept etc. The previous owner has owned it for 18 years. Theres a few things to do on it but Im getting there.

Why would you re-paint it? By the looks of the pics, the paint is great, although we don't see the right hand side.

Please keep it white, it looks stunning as it is!

Thanks Mate, but up close it need sorting, paint is old, definatly keeping it the same colour.

You've never heard of a webasto roof? If you're gonna have a sun roof, that's the one to have. Full length and old skool cool IMHO.

When I purchased it, the owner said having the Webasto roof probably saved it from a life of rallying!!!

I reckon on a nice run on a hot sunny day you would'nt want it any over way!

Lovely car ...why do tyre fitters always put those bloody clamp weights on the outside of the rims...really annoys me

Agree, tire weights should be fitted on the inside. In fact, why don't you ask the tire fitter to put the weight on the inside next time you mount a new set of tires? He'd probably be happy to do it for you, or else you'll kick his arse.
