peranapete Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 very clean, is it a genuine twink? Yes, its a genuine one, before I brought it I checked it out with the AVO register etc, loads of history, original sale reciept etc. The previous owner has owned it for 18 years. Theres a few things to do on it but Im getting there. Thanks Peter
mk1nurburg Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 loving that. those wheels and colour suit it perfectly! you should pop along to the portsmouth meet.,... couple of other people head across from the surrey area. were thinking of doing the next one in may..... let me know if youre interested. cheers. paul
Coff Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Why would you re-paint it? By the looks of the pics, the paint is great, although we don't see the right hand side. Please keep it white, it looks stunning as it is!

rscapriman Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Very nice Peter, a rare old car that. Len.
Coff Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Good choice, keeping the color! What's that thing on the roof? A safari-roof, or box-of-sardines-roof?
Admin Vista Posted February 14, 2007 Admin Report Posted February 14, 2007 Good choice, keeping the color! What's that thing on the roof? A safari-roof, or box-of-sardines-roof? You've never heard of a webasto roof? If you're gonna have a sun roof, that's the one to have. Full length and old skool cool IMHO. Nice car Peter.
roryhof Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 luvly car mate i think tha webasto looks well 2
peranapete Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 luvly car mate i think tha webasto looks well 2 When I purchased it, the owner said having the Webasto roof probably saved it from a life of rallying!!! I reckon on a nice run on a hot sunny day you would'nt want it any over way! Thanks Peter
MK II Mark Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Lovely car mate, V.V. Cool! I like the sunroof as well

Arched Escy Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Very nice!Any pics of the interior or the motor?
escort21 Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Lovely car ...why do tyre fitters always put those bloody clamp weights on the outside of the rims...really annoys me
Coff Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Agree, tire weights should be fitted on the inside. In fact, why don't you ask the tire fitter to put the weight on the inside next time you mount a new set of tires? He'd probably be happy to do it for you, or else you'll kick his arse.
mk1esc Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 lovely car Peter, pretty rare now, nt many come up for sale at all these days....how long ahve you owned it? As for the colour, i think white is the only colour for a twink
