Pinto starter motor

can anyone suggest a good place to get another starter motor from? Mine has finally died a death.

 

Or should I just get it refurbed?

okay refurbed at bargain price, any special instructions on putting it back in ie should the bit with the spring on hook on to something?

Here's the thing, was I supposed to take off the whole big bit? I think I might have just refurbed the solenoid assembly...

hi  I got a brand new high torque starter motor from ebay for a rs 2000  for 79.99 delivered works a treat works   look for a and a parts in pinto starter motors

I got a high torque starter from H&H Ignitions.

Thanks all. Started stripping the edge off bolts earlier too...oops.

its only 3 bolts on a pinto. i have a high torque edge starter i got from burton. try using a socket on extension to undo them. much less chance of shagging the bolt head than a spanner
