Get the Xmas Tree and Dec's back up in the loft.........try to find homes for all the kids new toys!! I've almost broke my toe on a dolls house, skidded across the front room on a fairy dress, and if I had a penny for every time I've trodden on lego or power ranger guns I'd have 32p :-)

You've just described my house too!

Got mine running again today 1st time in ages finishing up the wiring trim then it's all shows I can afford to do !

You planning on racing again Brett? Be good to have you back in the OSFDC   ;)

For the first weekend of 2015, tomorrow I should hopefully get my daily back after being carless for 3 weeks, timing chain needed replacing as it sounded like a van lol then probably round to my mates to see his 'new' Sierra which he's bought after crashing his Nova, he saw the light and came to the Ford life

Back out to the house.......... after two weeks..

Have to as, we have to get the house sorted, as it gets a full new roof (tiles) within two weeks ( by a contractor).

So we ( wife & me ) got sorted….

K&N filter assembly/modification fitted.. ( without cutting the stock airfilterbox..)

Doors aligned properly and fully assembled including windows fitted ( 1½ days work ).

New headliner fitted ( nightmare ). Double nightmare as we have one of the very scarce Capri mk1 factory fitted sliding sunroof. Nobody makes a headliner for it so it’s a stock reproduction replacement self modified to fit.

Factory sliding sunroof back fitted and aligned. ( Was out for paint as was the whole car ).

Scariest moment…. First time sliding it open hoping you wont ruin the paint job when it slides into the car, and vice versa….

Was a big task as we sort of forgot how we dismantled it after one and a half year.

Tail lights fitted and GXL centre plate and trims fitted ( glued with 3M double side acrylic VHB tape ) ( didn’t want to drill holes ).

Rear & front screen fitted. Autoplass rear louvre on.

Even had time for some off topic old skool bike work….flakes

Wrenching with the wife is great, but sometimes challenging.

We had a few moments one of us had to walk away for a few minuts...

Still a lot of work to do. Interior and rearend and all the GXL trims.

Even the bike aint finished as "I" will make a new spoked rearwheel for it out of two different wheels ( is cast alloy wheel now ).

what you all got planned then? Back out to the garage ...

Yup, after 10 days of being sick I'm back to 100% now and sorting out a few annoying jobs in the workshop. Later today I'm going to re-assemble my Cortina heater box - it's been apart for new foam seals.

Of course, this is 2015 and I'm really quite keen that this is the year my Cortina gets back on the road.
