I'm from southend originally so it has to be a rossi ice cream, still have one when I go back, and you can even buy tubs of it in asda! But I did like a zoom though!

Our local newsagent used to sell ice cream and it was Midland Counties, I used to love their Raspberry Ripple. Or when we went on holiday to Cornwall it was Kellies ice cream and still is today, lovely.

If we had ice-cream (rare) we always had "Mr.Whippy" from the ice cream man, with 'monkey blood' on top.

Monkey blood lol ... I've not heard that one before

Choc Ice, if my pocket money stretched past a 99

Well that was until we got our first chest freezer in the 70s (my dad worked for Hoover, and I remember our neighbours storing their food in it), and Bejams opened locally. Then I got sick of the sight of the things lol

It might be "a northern thing", and to be honest sounds pretty gross when I say it now.

Monkey Blood... Haha, that's what we called it to.

Mmmmmm fabs. Had one the other day. Just as good but smaller.

Or maybe you've grown taller?

Some days I think I just buy a Mk1 Transit and do an ice-cream van conversion, and be the most popular person at car show camp sites  :)
