accord83 Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 I got mine from Escort-tec, site sponsor, via Ebay. Be aware if you are buying them individually off Ebay to make a pair, they are handed.
HotRodMatt Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 I have a set available from my 1100 Mk1 but Tapatalk won't let me upload a pic! PM me if you are interested.
Ray Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 the round are HD and not standard this shape is standard http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-ESCORT-MK1-1100cc-1300cc-1970-1975-Right-Hand-Engine-Mount-A1129-/361079941043?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item54120aa7b3 thats a pattern part, no genuine ones on ebay at mo, but they do come up, genuine ones have the stud in the top as well buy as a pair if you can
Ray Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 well theres a crappy set, but probably not a lot different to what youve got http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ford-escort-mk1-2-1300-x-flow-engine-mounts-/271724606714?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f440c74fa
accord83 Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 If Stoneduke isn't interested in your mounts HotrodMatt, I am. Cheers, John. 1
HotRodMatt Posted January 24, 2015 Report Posted January 24, 2015 I've done a bit if googling and am starting to wonder if the mounts I have offered are actually Pinto mounts... can anyone confirm what they are?
HotRodMatt Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 Found a part number but I don't know what they are off? Same number on each mount and they are handed. Edit: Mk4 Cortina came out in '76 so the part number would suggest these are actually Pinto mounts from a Mk4.
accord83 Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 A quick google found an ending Ebay sale for a Taunus 1.3, 1.6, 2.0, OHC 1970 to 1982 engine mount, If Google translate from German is right......
trextr7monkey Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 I have a box with a whole load of the square rubber mounts in the garage could probably rustle up a decent pair. if youare not fix dup yet atb Mike
