Thank you for any info Jamie
luckyjim Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 hello and welcome to osf.the mk2 looks worth every penny of the asking price in my opinion.you may find a rougher one that is cheaper but then a rough project will eat time and money like you wouldn't believe.if it is your first old ford I would advise buying the best you can afford and have some fun with it.
irishtorag Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 Looks ok for the money and you have 2 xtra doors Plus side not much to get her legal and then do a rolling resto in your own time with your own stamp on it kenny 1
mk2 mike Posted January 25, 2015 Report Posted January 25, 2015 Welcome. It seems like a reasonable price if the car is as solid as he claims. Go take a look. Wave the cash in his fave and he may well drop a couple of hundred quid. Oh and personally I love terracotta. Think it looks ace! 1

Thank you I've always been in to my subaru wrx sti which I still have but like yourself always bought up with these cars and fancy a change. But the boss says I have to sell the scooby if I want one of these but I think I will using it on my own lol as she doesn't like them but I think they are a good investment .

Thanks I've already spoke with the guy he won't drop but if it's worth it I don't mind paying the cash it's only sat in an isa account making nothing lol

The two doors are silly money now but I still like the four doors so a no brainier for me .
