Well, what can I say! Another fantastic day and probably the first time in years I've not come away with Pod Face!

A massive thanks to Vista (Scott) who not only organised all the stand passes and tickets but ran the club stand all day too. A huge thank you also goes to Smoke em (Dave) and Mrs Smoke em (Michelle ) who also helped to run the stand all day.

Then we must say an enormous well done and thank you to JP and the Dutch crew for parking you all up so efficiently and making the stand look superb.

Finally, a Big Big Big thank you to all of our members for bringing along your lovely Old Skool Ford's and doing us proud. Numbers were slightly down (probably due to the weather ) but the hard core were there ... we must have the best members on the Ford scene I reckon.

Hope you all had a great day and a safe journey home. Now to look to the next show ......

Echo Jo's comments, thanks to all who braved the weather.

Remember, Ford Fair in August and Ford Fest in September....... :-)

Now, my van needs a thorough clean.........and a little bit of mechanical TLC as it developed a misfire en route home. The joys of Classic Ford Ownership eh?

I must say a big thank you to all for making it a great day for me and my wife right from the start by the welcome by the Dutch crew with the parking at 7am when we arrived very organised and chatty to Mr & Mrs smoke-em on the club stand. Met a lot of people who of course are very enthusiastic and helpful. Proud to put the Old Skool Ford sticker on my screen!

Dutch chapter made it home last night with just a little fuzz...

Capri RS need some TLC now and some carb synchronising.

Taunus 15M RS from Willem developed a slipping clutch on the way home but still made it home.

Consul Cosworth suddenly had gear shifting issues but also made it home.

We all had a great time and again it was worth the adventure to make all those miles with an well aged car....

I now can say, I have met all the OSF members in person that where on the Show. Great to speak to you all and great to meet you all.

Scott, about that distillery : http://www.welsh-whisky.co.uk/contact.aspx Its proper stuff. Got me self some bottles again, alongside some Scotch brands that are also not available in Holland.
