SmokeEm Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Anyone else noticed? There seem to be a few more regular posters on here since last Sunday? What do people think as to why? Is it either... A. CF Show gives back some enthusiasm to members to talk about their cars and lives a bit more? Or B. Having been to CF show and put a face to a name makes some peeps realise that we as site 'Staff' are everyday approachable people that share the same passion? Other members too for that matter. Or some other reason? Scott and I had a discussion on the clubstand that things seemed busier lately and its a great thing to have more join in with the banter. What are your thoughts peeps? Everyone's opinion counts to me. Name names if you have to 1

2512pf Posted June 4, 2015 Report Posted June 4, 2015 Yeah I think the weather helps a lot of people have been locked away in their garage now the suns out ish people are posting ,which is great as everyone's opinion is welcome .or it could poss be this is the best place to find out more about old fords and at the same time have a bit of banter which we all now is great

I personally am a little more .....whats the word ........cautious maybe, when engaging with people on the Internet who I don't know, particularly when it's banter. Reason being, it's easy to mis interpret text for one, and 2, I don't know who I might offend or upset. Once ive met someone face to face I don't mind ......cos we know each other, mates and all that That just about covers my angle on banter, now...technical stuff:- I don't post much on tech issues cos............I know feck all!!!! 5

Noooo you just you introduced yourself as SmokEm to me. So you must be him I thought. No other thoughts from us. Thank god we don't look all the same. I even don't bother what people think about me. Goat would probably be it.... Hmmm really important... SmokEm, & missus, first impression from "our" side when we met, Sunday morning early... very friendly !! We had a nice chat the first time that day, the second time that day and the third that day. What else do we wish for. It could be that I ( we ) are very open minded and some in this world are not. Not sure if I translate this correct but : Cosiness its a thing you have to create yourself. Must say "basically" every one I spoke to during our parking session was very friendly so Id dare to say the OSF community is very friendly. 3
