VivaLaRic Posted June 30, 2015 Report Posted June 30, 2015 Does anybody know of a good bodyshop willing to take on panel beating etc on my mk1 escy in the Colchester area? I know a couple but I've been to them and asked, they say they'll call but never do?
Admin Vista Posted June 30, 2015 Admin Report Posted June 30, 2015 These days most regular body shops are only interested in crash repair jobs from insurance companies as they offer quick turnover and a low risk revenue stream. You probably need to seek out a classic restorer in your area and then shop around for feedback on them. 1

You probably need to seek out a classic restorer in your area and then shop around for feedback on them. and if theyre any good there will be a waiting list or a while before you can be booked in the guy that did mine is constantly refusing work on a daily basis, he gets very well recommended as hes good, but he is a one man band and can only take on so much, if he dosnt know the person wanting the work done, its an instant no most of the time
