Hi Brethren!

 

Just bought myself this Capri Lazer and thought it be a good idea to join the forum,

 

Its had- a full professional re-spray & undersealed

Rebuilt 2.1 Pinto engine with reconditioned twin weber 45 carbs

RS Alloys with chunky Nankang tyres

Full Ashley exhaust system

Mk2 Grill and Mk2 front and rear bumpers

Recaro style seats with fishnet headrests

 

UUHhh yea, that's about it.     I FREAKIN LOVE IT

 

Just needs some work on the interior and shes good as Gold

Thanks for the welcome guys, I'm fresh on classic ford scene so learning things along the way

 

I do like the look of the tyres mk2 mike but there is the issue of when ie. hitting rough ground they come into contact with the arches, will definitely

consider a smaller size when it comes to replacing them.

 

Lol I'll keep that in mind Pete, I've been told The back end will step out if given the beans!

 

Going to replace the door speakers with some modern ones, I think they're oval 6x4's but I'll have to check.

 

Will be wanting to get the seats re upholstered, and put in a parcel shelf as that's missing

the wheels you have are 7.5J (wide) you need arch mods to use them , these were used on the x pack cars back in the day. the widest wheel you can put under a standard arch is 7J. with the right offset you still get a dished look. midland wheels do re-productions

Even without, mine would misbehave if one rear wheel went over a manhole in the rain.
