Suspension and steering being supplied by one of the site sponsors Escort-Tec at a very reasonable price thanks Darren. Hoping to get it up and running finished for Classic Ford next year,That's if I can find all the trim bits it needs before then and dont have to rob a bank to get them.so if anyone has rear and front lights front grill, front windscreen trim, rear bumper all must in brill Nick would much appreciate a call 7
khanlad Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 You made it back t north then, rain? Strange, being closer to the equator the weathers normally better down here?
colr6 Posted October 7, 2015 Author Report Posted October 7, 2015 That's the whole point, couldn't bring myself to join the dark side.bought something I think will increase in price more as a GT or modified than an escort in a few years. You know me Paul got to be different! So I can still wind all the arsole owners UP!!!
dalmarshall Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Very nice So....yb and t5 box.......what else? Colour and wheels etc or is it staying as it is (it looks good as it is btw)

SmokeEm Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Sounds awesome Col. You'd have almost driven past my front door to get to Portsmouth. I like the colour idea
colr6 Posted October 7, 2015 Author Report Posted October 7, 2015 Don't think there will be enough space, don't want it to look to Carlos fandango y.to be honest prefer the flat faced wheel on this type of car
colr6 Posted October 7, 2015 Author Report Posted October 7, 2015 Smoke em don't suppose you would appreciate me knocking on your door at 2am! 1
PeteRS8084 Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 I am jealous col, I wish you all the luck with a quick, happy and safe build. Can't wait to slag, sorry see it as classic ford.......obviously you will have to park away from us common escort drivers! Don't forget that you love signal green 77 and 7x13 jbw minilights!
colr6 Posted October 7, 2015 Author Report Posted October 7, 2015 The nearest I'll get to signal green 77 is the chassis code being f77!!
SmokeEm Posted October 7, 2015 Report Posted October 7, 2015 Can't afford the lotus wheels!!! A man of your means? Pay up you tight git or get some banded steels instead
colr6 Posted October 7, 2015 Author Report Posted October 7, 2015 Was hoping you might feel sorry for me and donate a set

colr6 Posted October 8, 2015 Author Report Posted October 8, 2015 D-FENS, originally seen through a fellow OSF member. Was also looking at RS 2000s but there is so much crap at silly prices around decided to go for this after weighing all the pros and cons up and the pics as advertised did not do it justice. Was not bought via ebay, can't remember the last time I saw a car this good without rust and original panels.plus it's not the normal escort what EVERYBODY does.Cant wait to crack on with it but have another couple of projects on the go so will need to get my finger out!!
Vista Posted October 8, 2015 Report Posted October 8, 2015 Very nice staying turbo powered with the YB?
