V8 Allan Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Hi I have been a member since 2013 but never posted as I have trouble spelling so here goes I have been into old fords since a teenager had lots of cars over the years but most have been fords at the moment I have 100e that I've owned 13 years a couple of years ago it finally got an xflow a 4 speed box and an English axle. I also have a mk2 zephyr which I have fully restored and fitted a ford small block 4 speed auto and 8" axle which you have probably seen at the classic ford weekend a few times well that's it for now I will try and put a couple picks on if I can 2
Admin Vista Posted March 5, 2016 Admin Report Posted March 5, 2016 Welcome to the site, a lovely looking pair of classic Fords!
HotRodMatt Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 Welcome, I like the '55 Chevy style paint treatmeant on the rear wing of the Zephyr. 100E looks very sweet too. [emoji41]
khanlad Posted March 8, 2016 Report Posted March 8, 2016 Classic ford weekend, do you mean ford fest in September ? Think you may have been camped just up from us? Or there's another orange car like yours around?
V8 Allan Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Ha yes I was at that to my mate had his cortina on one of the stands so went a long with him
V8 Allan Posted March 8, 2016 Author Report Posted March 8, 2016 Hi thought I put some picks of my dads mk1 cortina and my brothers mk1 consul this has a 3.0L and auto box mk2 axle and front suspension the axle is narrowed to get bigger wheels on. and still has a way to go.
