Moderator Rally Pack 2000 Posted March 28, 2016 Moderator Report Posted March 28, 2016 Given that the casting of callipers is rough at the best of times I always found that calliper paint that you get in a spray can its more than ample for the job. Heat resistant and plenty of colours and finishes available too. 1
Danish Posted March 28, 2016 Report Posted March 28, 2016 I use this stuff - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270907974425 I use it for engines too as it comes in a nice range of colours. 1
Jpmlfc Posted March 29, 2016 Author Report Posted March 29, 2016 would etch primer and 2 pack be upto the job
colr6 Posted March 29, 2016 Report Posted March 29, 2016 Problably would be depending how heavy you are on the brakes, can't see chipping been much of a problem because the caliper is shielded by the wheel. The problem you have is the heat generated by the brakes. Heat paint would be the best option. Try the 2 pack you can always strip off if no good, any things worth a try.
JP. Posted March 30, 2016 Report Posted March 30, 2016 Hammerite will do the job on Callipers and will last long. Use it for ages.
