Mr Big Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Hi everyone, In 2014 I achieved an ambition in buying a Corsair 2000E... The same year, model and colour as the last motor owned by my Dad before he passed away back in 1971. It is a 67 in blue mink with black interior. It has been in hibernation for much of the last year while I started a new job and the moved to the Isle of Wight. Now I've got it up and running I have a small snagging list... Can anyone help me find the following? * a carburettor repair kit. * A rubber grommet/washer for the brake servo * a condenser * distributor/points. I am a Corsair Club member but any help here would be most appreciated!
colr6 Posted April 11, 2016 Report Posted April 11, 2016 Hi and welcome to OSF. Really nice choice of car. Always loved the 2000e
Admin Vista Posted April 11, 2016 Admin Report Posted April 11, 2016 Welcome to Old Skool Ford To be honest, you'd be better asking the technical aspects of your post in one of the technical rooms.
Mr Big Posted April 11, 2016 Author Report Posted April 11, 2016 Thanks to both colr6 and Vista for the welcome. I'll no doubt find my way around the various "rooms" but I appreciate your posts. Looking forward to enjoying the Corsair now that she's out of hibernation.

logieiow Posted April 12, 2016 Report Posted April 12, 2016 Hi, welcome, I live on the Island too, look forward to seeing you out and about. Did you know there is an IOW Classic Ford Cub? We have a Retards Club page, someone in the club may be able to help with the bits you need.
