colr6 Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 You will have to pull the inner cable out altogether then the chrome nut/ disc is screwed onto the outer cable. Remove the chrome round trim then you can remove dash trim

I've managed to get the outer chrome ring unscrewed but it makes it awkward to manage the trim as it's so flimsy when I can't remove it completely I'm the kinda of person who likes to disturb as little as possible for fear it won't work again after lol!

accord83 Posted May 10, 2016 Report Posted May 10, 2016 If you pull the inner out, before you disconnect it at the carb I usually clean the cable end and fill it with solder, or the frayed end which always unravels, never goes back through the carb nipple. 1
