antz Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 After driving the escort everyday for the past year and thend eciding to get it all restored i came to the conclusion it was time for a daily hack! been only 18 i was limited for options and ive just put a deposit on a..... VOLVO 240 gl! its cheaper to insure than a micra, got enough room for all my escort bits and the dog, its a comfycruiser, RWD and good for my long motorway trips. then again... WHAT 18YEAR OLD BUYS A VOLVO! the escort stays though! thats my pride and joy so its never going! its got more time for modifying though no pics cos its exhaust needs fixing so im not picking it up until monday
andrewg1323 Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 i'd have considered it at 18! I Had a mk3 escort and a gold metro when i was 18 Wouldnt have been so bad if it;d still been the 80s but i;m about to turn 23
MK5 Posted February 24, 2007 Report Posted February 24, 2007 not a lot of street cred but should be reliable... and if its cheap to insure and run even better... at least its a car...
