Green Mk2 Escort 1300 Sport WCK71V, Layton, Blackpool discovered missing 18/06/16

 

 

 

Green mk2 Escort 1300 Sport reg WCK71V was discovered stolen on Saturday 18^th June 2016. The car was stolen from the owner’s private garage in Blackpool. The car was stolen at some time in the last 6 months (when the car was last checked).
The thieves prised open the garage door with a crowbar, stole the car & then closed the door so forced entry wasn’t noticeable.

The car has been sat in the garage for around 18 years. The car is a 1300 Sport fitted with a 1700 Crossflow with a single 45 carb & a Janspeed exhaust. The bonnet has pressed bonnet vents as per the picture & also has a dent on the passenger side front wing. The front quarter bumpers are fitted with over riders.
The car had standard brown check interior & was fitted with Capri Laser alloys, the O/S/F having green painted spoke inserts. The car also has a red Ford badge on the front grille.

The car has an aftermarket mirror on the driver’s side, there is no mirror on the passenger side.
Due to the length of time the car was in storage, the car is covered in a lot of dirt.

i check mine every day, how can you go 6 months, especially in that little garage, i dont even trust the alarms and fort knox door systems lol

Mines 24/7 on a camera system!..plus alarms 2" solid doors 3 five lever locks on each door oh yes and the wife... Don't know why I bothered with security, one sight of her they've gone....scary. ..still can't be to carefull these days
