Its compounded by the fact that the compliance plates never indicated as such so only a few can really tell the difference. I remember at a European Ford show a few years back a replica Rally Pack won best original car cause hardly anyone knew what to look for.
RWL81P Posted July 21, 2016 Author Report Posted July 21, 2016 yeah there's lots of copies and far from being an annorak, i know what to look for on genuine cars, but some are that good that with the correct year plates and the bonnet shut that you'd never tell the difference. i see that many at shows, that once mines finally restored i think im gonna leave the stickers off.
