The bolt thread size for Mk1 escort engine crossmember to body??? I heard it was 3/8 UNF... so I bought some bolts, and they don't screw in? Any help will be apprrciated, thanks

So it does, never noticed that before. It's made up from other member's input so may have some errors in it. You've tried the 3/8 ones though and they don't fit, try the 5/16?

I'm Suprised there only 5/1/6 would have thought at least 3/8 for a structural mount ?

certailly not UNC, i jusy put my purple car on a stand using those bolts, as far as i remember it was a fine thread
