Admin Vista Posted September 10, 2017 Admin Report Posted September 10, 2017 I have for sale, a full set of Roll top Mk 1 RS seat covers as shown in the pictures. They are cloth and vinyl mix as per the original covers but are not from Betacloth. They are in good condition and are 12 to 13 years old with no rips or tears. I replaced them with Betacloth reproduction ones as I had to take the covers off anyway to repair the foam in some places and replace the base webbing straps. The pictures below are before they were removed, I can take more pics of the covers loose if required. Headrest covers and seat buttons are included. Price: £250 + postage (at cost) or you can collect from Cornwall.
Stu3y Posted January 4, 2018 Report Posted January 4, 2018 Hi Vista, which company are these covers from?Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk

Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk I don't know, they were newly fitted to the car when I bought it. I assume they were made by a local trimmer as the Aldridge betacloth ones weren't available then.
Stu3y Posted January 4, 2018 Report Posted January 4, 2018 Oh ok. As you have seen already have just got a set of front seats which i am led to believe came from classic trim but cant confirm. He wants nearly 500 quid for a rear cover so was considering whether your rear cover would be suitable however someone pointed out classic trim have the blue hue and Aldridge dont. Defeats the object of me buying newly trimmed seats when i can pretty much buy front and rear covers from alridge for 100 quid more The attached photo is my material Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
Admin Vista Posted January 4, 2018 Author Admin Report Posted January 4, 2018 I wouldn't buy anything from Classic Trim, I've read too many bad reviews.

That is my view too, and especially when its double the price of aldridge. The only issue would be matching the cloth. I guess ill have to take the headrest to a few trimmers and see who can supply the cloth. Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
binksy73 Posted January 6, 2018 Report Posted January 6, 2018 Hi you can get the black/blue cloth from seagals but it ain't cheap at £90 per meter + P&P. Also Mk2 Escort Mexico roll top recaros are the only seats that have the black/blue cloth fitted to them not Mk1 RS2000 roll tops. Steve.
Rich T Posted April 16, 2018 Report Posted April 16, 2018 I know this is an old thread but are the covers still for sale? Ive got fishnet recaros up front. Would these fit? Rich
Admin Vista Posted April 16, 2018 Author Admin Report Posted April 16, 2018 Yes they're still available.......but I don't think they'll fit mk2 fishnet recaros.
Rich T Posted April 16, 2018 Report Posted April 16, 2018 Ok. Thanks anyway.
