Daggle Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 , Thing is that first one it looks like there is enough room to drive around it on the pavement
Burns Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 and the last one, the passenger's head actually cracks the windscreen, that'll serve him not to wear his seat belt
Daggle Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 and the last one, the passenger's head actually cracks the windscreen, that'll serve him not to wear his seat belt I didn't see that before, no wonder he got out a bit quick
mk2_escort_chick Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I've seen that before- still makes me chuckle
Slik 50 Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 That is fantastic We dont have anything like that around our way.
over_head_cam Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Every time I see it i chuckle a bit. Stupid people doing stupid things and coming out worse off
Admin Vista Posted February 28, 2007 Admin Report Posted February 28, 2007 I laugh at it but don't approve of it. I've heard all the arguments in favour i.e. "You shouldn't have been trying to drive there so deserve what you get" type statements but maintain that no-one deserves to have their pride and joy wrecked for something as simple as using a bus lane. Many of the people who make the argument that you deserve what you get, will be the type who'll be bleating about how unfair it is getting a camera speeding ticket a few weeks later, how's that for double standards? I also think that a system like that could potentially injure someone and even if there are warning signs, what about foreign nationals who can't read English? I've driven in plenty of foreign Countries where I can't read the road signs.
4parajon Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 It is in Manchester. Right in the city centre, although I dont necessarily agree or disagree with those things, where those are situated (which you lot can't see) there are loads of signs basically saying "no cars. Buses and unloading vans only" The big glass building is Marks & Spencers where the bomb in '96 exploded.
