Who says so?, went to the garage to get the mk1 out today first time iv touched it since a local show on the 12th August and it fired up second turn of the key

 

Still running a dynamo and on a halfrauds battery

I have had osf's as everyday cars but work kinda restricts me now so i bought a ricer

 

I been doing some crazy shift work so i just havent had the chance recently. Bloody loved it today though, got a wave off a fella in a DB9

Best one i saw was in a town called Kendal about 15 miles from me, A guy was walking arm in arm with his missus, when he snapped back his arm dropped to his knees and worshipped the pavement as i drove by

 

She just shook her he and stood there with her arms folded

My MKII Capri was easily one of, if not the most reliable car i have ever owned. Bloody miss that car.

Well, I wont say to much. I personally never have any luck with batteries.

 

All my cars have been ultra reliable, but their batteries hate me. I have even had one freeze into ice before. Totally unheard of, that's how much they hate me.

 

But, my Capri is used everyday, Rain, Wind or Shine. Fires up first time everytime. If the battery lasts the winter, then it likes me

mine sits at 5000 at 70 mph and i cruise at 55mph which is roughly 3800

i got a 115 out of my 1.6 capper on privateky owned airstrip i just happened too find on the way to london... i was called something beginning with M... hmm never mind... but i was well impressed... down hill with a tail wind mind
