No there's nothing shabby about it lol but it's bloody expensive for what you get. Much more value for money further out.

Its an absolute ripoff where you are, Im surprised that's where you ended up actually. You can definitely get better for your money though but nothing is really worth the ridiculous asking prices these days.

Its not rambling at all, its really good to hear from you and catch up.

Nice GT Falcon, worth as much as a house these days.

I think we ended up there as that's where the wife lived 20 odd years ago when she was nursing out here. Probably help if we weren't forking out $2000 a month for the house back in the UK. I could always start working I suppose but I don't like talking about that

Empty house in the UK? That sounds nice, is there a garage there for my 2 Escorts?

If we chop em up small enough I'm sure we can squeeze them in somewhere. Celica got sold before we left. 89916739e0d876d41774bd4587be4789.jpg

Bloody Hell is stacked! No room at the inn for me in there. I may have to go back to my original plan and commandeer @dt36 new two storey garage with apartment up top. His Betty delivers tea and cake out to the workshop too.

May end up flogging the Escort when we go back and giving the Mini a bit more love. Not that she deserves it the little bitch!

Almost scrapped the Mk2 for a Mini Clubman but after a few months I was sore all over so raced the Mk2 through a very dodgy MOT to keep it on the road. If you sell the Escort you may never be able to buy back in. But then again Neutral Bay and all that he says as he tips his hat to the rich and gentry. 🙂

Lol I'm just a poor unemployed engineer. Wife's job is going really and looks like getting a promotion so we'll more than likely be here for another 2 years. Time will tell...

Trapped here for another two years is not what I would call a promotion! Two centuries ago it was called a punishment. (still is) LOL

I know. Sometimes a part of me thinks 2 years is plenty and head back home but another thinks we won't get this chance again so stay on. Only thing I miss is the house and playing with my cars. Can't even just pop home for a bit as I might not get back in now.

I did an oil change on the Captiva just to get my hands mucky. Felt good.

I used to hide the rear quarters but there's not always a wall where you want one.....

Looks like a really nice Ghia too! Why would you want to hide the rear doors? LOL

Thank you, the dent in the front wing is down to the Mrs (honest). I should've put the whole car behind the wall so obviously it's my fault.
