I was just adding to my post when you replied, which type of switch panel do you have? The later ones seem more fragile than the earlier wide switch ones. I work on a trading estate and shortly after posting on here a mk1 drove past, heading to the local bodyshop. I rang sead bodyshop and asked him if he could ask sead escort owner to drop in when he leaves. He did. He or a friend may have one in their parts stash. Waiting to hear back. Genuine RS1600 aswell!
