Had a day out today - 22nd Sept at Kempton Park Water Works which had a little Classic Car / Bike assembly for added interest - a few Jags, a few Triumphs, a couple of Escorts - one a nice, unrestored? lime green Mk1 Mexico and what i'd say was a sorted Maroon / Silver Anglia with silver Minilites - had an Oldskool sticker in the rear screen -  with the big Tacho and 8k redline, I don't think it was stock LOL!

The Engine house was fascinating - two mahoosive triple expansion pumping engines, one restored and in steam today - 70' tall, about a 1000 tons weight, 1008hp each and capable of pumping 19 million gallons of water per day, 20 rpm flat out LOL! If anyone is in the area, its a good 1/2 day out especially when the engine is in steam (about 6 times a year).
