I had to get a picture compression app from App Store,then select them from your picture library,I made a folder to keep compressed pictures in

You just select choose files and then select you photos easy works fine with iPhone

If you're talking about uploading them direct from your phone to here, it may not be that straightforward. There's a maximum file size for uploads and most modern phones exceed that if you don't resize the image first.
