Hi all,

 

Has anyone on here ever bought parts or items from STAGE1MOTORSPORTS either direct or via Ebay ?????, does he/she sell on here ????, seem to have an awful lot of stuff available.

I have bought quite a few things from Trevor. His parts are top quality. I was on the phone to him last week as I need a few more things. He is not the easiest to get hold of, but worth it in the end.

Bought heaps of stuff from him and was always good. He get some replica parts made that you just cant get anywhere else. Getting a reply message from him can be hit and miss though. I have bought direct and through Ebay and both methods are fine, you save a bit going direct though.

Yep does a lot of hard to find parts-gets it all remade and is top notch. As said he's very busy and can be tricky to get hold of. Very knowledgeable.

 

I think he may be leaving ebay soon as it's getting worse on there he now has his own website.

I've also bought a fair few parts from him all good no problems, actually looking at buying some other parts soon .

I have also bought Many parts from Stage1 motorsport very good quality parts . But when you have an issue with something they never come back to you when you complain . A few months ago I bought by their Own description on the website the so called correct door check strap rubbers for a 73 mk1 escort mexico , but they aren't correct ! When i received them and went to fit them they  wont go over the check strap it turns out they should be a simple foam gasket item At £4-99 ,Not what is being described on the website .  I have messaged them several times via the website and tried calling the number on there  to ask for a refund but to no avail  .These werent cheap at £55 !!!  So as far i am concerned Stage 1  seem to take your money and couldn't give a toss about customers And consumer rights . I wish now i had gone through e bay at least i would get my money back as i have been mis sold an item . Having spoken to several other members of various other clubs they have had issues with stage1 as well , not returning calls or answering complaints but having taken their money and their issues and problems not sorted out  . A lot of people say that Stage1 are  always very busy ! . Fair enough i can understand that , but seems like never too busy to take your money !! . So please Stage 1 motorsport sort your customer care out and deal with issues . I am still waiting for a reply By the way . £55 is a lot of money to throw away !!!
