Drivers Mirror Adjustor Wanted

Right Tommies gone and f*##*d up. 

Had my carpet trims, bonnet stay and catch back from powder coating, so fitted them tonight. 

Speaker was banging out a bit of Squeez Box by The Who and I'm sat on my roller stool nodding my head away. Fitting carpet trim and was taking it back out to spin it around when I tw#**#d my mirror adjustor and snapped it. 😪

Don't need the mirror unit, just the cable bit I'm assuming. Hopefully I don't need the whole lot.

If anyone has one, how much, pretty please? 

On a plus side, carpet trims and bonnet bits look better 😁

Give me a bit of time, I may have the broken one off the harrier. Could have put it in the box of bits but there in the loft. Hopefully the missis will let me in the garage tomorrow 🤔🤔

Just been and had a look the only things I saved off the mirror was the mounting plate and chrome internal ring. Sorry can’t help 😔

Are the passenger and drivers mirror cables interchangeable or are the left and right specific?

UK spec cars only had an adjustable RH side mirror on the drivers side. LH side was fixed. 

However, I would say that a LH drive car with an adjustable mirror would have the same cable set up. I'd also guess that a Capri cable might also fit. 

Somehow, I think this is not going to be a straightforward find.

I've got a complete adjustible LHD mirror - Black from a LHD RS. I was going to fit both to my RS but couldn't be arsed in the end. It'd be full price though just for a bit of plastic!

I got my passenger adjustable mirror from a kit car, bnib for £60

They were an option though as I purchased a set new in the 90s from a UK RS dealership. If they are the same left and right it may expand your search though

Just took an expensive hit on my mistake and also didn't get to see the 3 previous posts. 😢

Knowing my luck, I'll take the door mirror off and the window will smash 😂

That may be for the best, I remember trying to separate the cabling from the mirror and it all seem fused together. Maybe it was just age but still it dint want to give.
