I thought F1 lost its soul when he retired in 2001. The excitement amd enthusiasm he brought to the party in his commentary has never been equalled

Aye, sad loss :-( Remember watching some rally cross he was commentating on when I was a youngster and him putting the kiss of death on a bloke in a mini, "he's got this race in the bag now, they'll never catch him". Bloke promptly clipped a blood great mound and turned it over 😁 good old Murray, always really passionate about the sport!

Sad loss. Another Motorsport Legend gone. He was one of my first Motorsport memories...watching GP on a Sunday afternoon back in the70's with my Dad, his brother and my Grandfather. So enthusiastic, knowledgeable, funny....best Motorsport commentator out there!! Loved those days....[emoji108][emoji17]
