Wanted: Ford Type E 4 speed single rail Escort mk2 RS2000 rocket gearbox. No need for the bell housing. Must be good and ready to bolt in.

Does anyone have a good one that they want to sell?

Swap for a type 9 5 speed available.

Now - do you want an RS2000 Type E gearbox or a Type E fitted with 'Rocket' gearset? as there is probably about £2k difference in price !

Ah, just a standard RS2000 4 speed Type E gearbox will probably suffice!

You can widen your search, same box as a 2ltr Cortina/ Granada hopefully without the RS tax. But every type E box seems to miraculously come out of a RS2000 🤔🤔

Got one here. Bought as an RS box, before Colr6 advised that the same box is fitted to the Granada, etc. Not tested as gone the type-9 route.....tho the seller assured me it was a good quiet box.
