ive got a saff cossie at mo,but on look out 4 m2 mex or rs2000.

i live in pound hill but a few of my mates that live just round the corner from marcus the paint sprayer.

your mk1 is all good mate

I live in Haywards Heath and I have seen 2 in the last week, a red mk2 with buckets, sounded awesome (possibly Cossie or Zetec Turbo :oops: ) and an Orange Mk2 Xpack with an oldskool ford sticket in the window

The old girl has been sporting a 4:1 diff for a few months now and has deffo given it a bit more pull

 

Just need a damn good tune up now :twisted:

Coor this is an old post

 

I bought my Milton QS kit years ago and fitted it in about 60 seconds in a dark underground carpark in South London!!

 

I was amazed how easy it was to fit, just popped out the old gear stick and dropped the new one in and screwed down the machined aluminium cover! done!

 

I took the old rubber gaiter and cut it about an inch or so from the base, pushed it down tight over the machined base and it fitted nice and tight and does not let fumes etc into the car.

 

I don't have any pics at work but remind me and I'll try to get a pic from home, mind you, its now all covered up by carpet

 

Not sure if the kits have changed but I love mine!

For those that might remember this post that was started back in 2005 I can report that the old girl is still on the firm and about to have some tweaks

Well no photo's yet as there have been unforeseen delays but I can report that hopefully by CF show she will be sporting the below;

 

New modified and shortened Type 9 Gearbox & RS Bellhousing

New Prop

New Hydraulic Type 9 hydraulic clutch conversion kit

and all the other crap that goes with it!!!

 

I must be getting old as that 4 speed was killing me :D :D

Small update..... the new recon box arrived today, shortened by 34mm to ensure NO tunnel mods are needed.

 

Can't wait to get it all back together
