Above is done now, got 8mm fuel line from the tank right up to the 40's, And moved the regulator up under the bonnet,

 

Dont know if it was just me, but it seemed to fly all the way home,

 

Cheers to Gary for the use of the Ramps and Marty for getting up early.

Well after fitting a brand new silver top Facet fuel pump yesterday,

 

I went back to Bossy for a RR session.

 

Well pleased with the results

 

125bhp at 5500rpm :twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted::twisted:

 

I love my Mex

Well the old girl is off the road for a couple of weeks now :sad:

 

Few little bits to be done before the summer shows and the MOT :twisted:

Superb!!!

Reminds me of a mex that I used to see in Portsmouth on my way to work back around 1984, same colour with white decals on minilites.

Probably the reason why I bought my first mex, a daytona yellow one for £800 back in '86.

Ripped all the webast roof out yesterday, taking it to a place in Haywards Heath to get a full much needed re trim,

 

Pulled out the crappy old bonnet release cable, need to make a new one, bonnet of off and new one fully shot blasted awaiting paint, so much to do and only a week off work LOL

fook me I cant feel my fingers LOL

 

keyed up the top of the engine bay and its not been primed,

 

Spent hours today wet flattng it and re keying it,

 

Bonnet is in primer both sides and so is roof, its taking a lot longer than I thought it would :sad:
